Janet Hopkins - Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant with ConNetica, Janet is project lead for the Western Australia Primary Health Association Mental Health Atlas and Transitions project, as well as the South Eastern Melbourne PHN Mental Health Atlas and Transitions project. In her previous work with ConNetica, Janet has worked on a diverse range of projects.
Janet was lead for a number of the Partners In Recovery tender bids, including Sydney North Shore and Beaches, Inner West Sydney and Perth Central and East Metro Medicare Local PIRs. All were successful in reaching the implementation stage. Other projects have included providing research support and input into the Obsessive Hope Disorder Report on the state of the Mental Health Sector in Australia, program reviews and evaluations and a comprehensive report on Social Media and Mental Health for Mind Australia. All of these projects required Janet to establish rapport with project team members, clients, referred service providers and other key stakeholders which has supported strong and lasting relationships with these clients.
Prior to re-joining ConNetica Janet was General Manager (and 2IC) at highly respected national mental health organisation SANE Australia. Janet has spent 15+ years working in the mental health sector in the Southern region of Melbourne and was the CEO of a community managed mental health service in the southern region of Melbourne (Lantern) prior to it merging with MIND Australia in 2012.
