Dr Peter Long
Dr. Peter Long is an experienced consultant skilled in qualitative research, facilitation, leadership, evaluation, alternative thinking strategies, planning, change management and training.
Peter holds qualifications in agriculture, arts and adult education. He is an International Rotary Graduate Fellow (1980) and was a recipient of a Qld. Public Service Overseas Study Award (1983) to advance his studies in Canada. In 2004 he was winner Bronze, NSW Premier’s Public Sector Awards for leadership.
He is a foundation presenter in the post graduate national Public Sector Management Program and has completed major projects with State, Commonwealth and Local Government. In 2000 he was a visiting lecturer in the International MBA, Waikato University on change management. He presently lectures in the MBA, QUT Graduate School of Business in Personal Development and Change, Systems Thinking, and Organisational Development, and is author of the unit on Context of Government in the current national PSM Program, now offered by QUT.
