Tanya Bell - Senior Consultant
Tanya is a Senior Consultant with ConNetica where she manages the Interactive Integrated Digital Atlas (IIDA). Over the last 15 years as a Population Health Epidemiologist, Tanya has held a number of academic and primary health care positions in the areas of Population Health Planning, Epidemiology and Primary Health Care. She has worked in a range of government and non-government settings including Queensland Health, Divisions of General Practice, Medicare Locals and came to ConNetica after working as the Sunshine Coast Area Manager for the CQWBSCPHN.
Throughout her academic career at a number of universities including The University of Queensland, CQ University Australia and the University of the Sunshine Coast she has lectured in the fields of Population Health Epidemiology as well as Health Promotion. Tanya has also supervised Honours and research Masters and PhD students during her time in academia.
Tanya has a strong passion for improving the health and well-being of populations particularly when she is able to combine her love for epidemiology and evidence-based practice principles. Tanya has extensive experience in coordinating and managing large scale population studies and has been the recipient of national research and evaluation awards for a number of key projects including the Active by Community Design (ABCD) project in 2015.
